Our location on Interstate 65 between Louisville and Nashville makes us a convenient stop for a meal break, an overnight or a multi-day tour. Bowling Green is known as “Home of the Corvette” for a good reason. It’s the only place in the world they make this classic car, so while you are here, you don’t want to miss the National Corvette Museum and the General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant. If you’re an automotive enthusiast, make sure to hit the historic stands at Beech Bend Raceway and catch the dragsters burning rubber from March to November.
We invite you to be a part of our history and heritage. Explore Lost River Cave & Valley in a relaxing boat ride through the cave. Hear the history of the tracks at the Historic Railpark & Train Museum. Relive the elegant Victorian era with a visit to Riverview at Hobson Grove. Walk through our past as you view the Kentucky Museum’s collections of unique and educational exhibits. Let your spirits soar at Aviaiton Heritage Park. Learn first-hand about the Shaker society of South Union. Discover antique treasures in nearby Smiths Grove.
Bowling Green is a great place for fun, too. Brave the rides at Beech Bend Amusement Park and Splash Lagoon. Dive into a water adventure at Russell Sims Aquatic Center. For something “udderly” different stop by Chaney’s Dairy Farm for ice cream. Enjoy a musical or theatrical performance at the Capitol Arts Center, Van Meter Auditorium or the Phoenix Theatre.
