COME OUT FOR THE STARS: TINSELTOWN AT SHAKERTOWN

SOUTH UNION, KY —- The formula of a dinner and a movie is hard to beat, whether you’re on a date with your mate or not.  Shaker Museum at South Union and the Orchestra Kentucky of Bowling Green are putting their best feet forward with Tinseltown at Shakertown, an evening of music from the movies in a setting any Hollywood art director would kill for.  Picture this: you and your date under the stars, enjoying the sumptuous cuisine of the Brickyard Café – Franklin, a refreshing whiff of early fall air and the swelling music of ever-popular Hollywood melodies.  For those that dream of being a silver screen big shot, come dressed as your favorite celebrity.  Don’t worry about the pesky paparazzi, they will not be admitted (if they don’t have a ticket, that is).  Lawn seating is available, but for you tycoons and studio heads, table seating is ‘bel air’ baby!  Go in with friends and decorate your table as a movie set.  Oscarettes will be presented in a variety of categories.

Maestro Jeff has created a sensuous selection of silver screen favorites.  Music from the Pink Panther, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Sound of Music to name but a few.

Maestro Jeff Reed advises, “With tickets starting at just $15, a little more for a table, you’d better get on the phone – now – and call for tickets because it does not get any better than this. Get a sitter for the kids, put on the Ritz and come out for the stars!”

Tinseltown at Shakertown, Saturday, September 26th at 7:30 pm on the grounds of the Historic Shaker Museum. Sponsored by BB&T, Colonel Robert E. Spiller, Logan Aluminum.  Co-sponsored by Logan Memorial Hospital.  In kind sponsorship by Earnhart + Friends Advertising.
