CVB'S KATIE FRASSINELLI NAMED BOWLING GREEN'S MARKETER OF THE YEAR
Professional Marketing Association Recognizes Members at Annual Banquet
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Katie Frassinelli, Marketing Director of the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, was named the 2008 Marketer of the Year by the Professional Marketing Association of Bowling Green.
Frassinelli has served as the CVB’s Marketing Director for over three years and has been a member of PMA since 2002. She currently serves as chair of the Kentucky Cave Region marketing committee and VP of Programs for the Professional Marketing Association. Katie is on the Advisory Board for the Center for Gifted Studies at Western Kentucky University, and is a board member for the Bowling Green Area Lodging Association and Bowling Green Western Symphony Orchestra. She also donates her time as a freelance graphic and web designer to organizations such as the Medical Center 10k Classic, Aviation Heritage Park, Riverview at Hobson Grove, the Historic Railpark and Train Museum, and Duncan Hines Festival.
The award was announced at PMA’s annual banquet and Markie Awards ceremony that showcases the talents of the organization’s membership. Introduced in 1995 at the first PMA banquet, the Marketer of the Year is PMA’s most prestigious award. Honorees are nominated and chosen by their peers, allowing the membership to recognize one of its own for outstanding achievements in marketing within the past year.
