Conference Room: Located on the first floor and provides chair seating for a maximum of 26 persons, which includes board table seating for 14. Ideal for committee meetings and planning sessions, the room is equipped with a television, VCR, dry-erase board, projection screen, and a kitchenette with a sink and small refrigerator.

Porter Cafe: Located on the first floor, it is an excellent location for group programs and receptions. Groups may use the room’s lectern with built-in sound system, as well as its kitchenette, outfitted with a sink and small refrigerator.

This room’s maximum capacity is 48. Any club or community group of persons meeting for non-profit purposes may request use of Library facilities.

Theater seating 803 on main level and 285 in the balcony. Professional sound and lighting, supervised by the technical director, balcony features a screen and projector, two art galleries.

Offering everything you need for developing and hosting a successful event, the Carroll Knicely Conference Center is a 40,000 sq. ft. comprehensive, all-occasion facility that creates the perfect environment for all types of educational and social functions, including: corporate events, training, meetings, and workshops, Christmas parties and retirement dinners, weddings and rehearsal dinners.
Wedding and reception space available for up to 600 guests, professional consultation and comprehensive catering services, wireless internet throughout the facility and satellite teleconferencing available.

Located in the center of Western’s campus, the Downing University Center (DUC) is truly the hub of WKU activities. The facility includes 11 meeting rooms ranging in capacity from 15 to 150 as well as a 750-seat theater. The Center is four floors and has two parking structures conveniently located across the street. The third level has space perfect for trade show booths.

Affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, Eagle Ridge Retreat is a smoke and alcohol free facility complete with everything you’d need to host a camp, corporate retreat, or any other natural gathering. The Garrett Conference Center was constructed in 1953 as the campus student center. When the Downing University Center opened, the board of Regents designated the Garret Center to be used primarily for meetings and special university events. The Garrett Center houses a cafeteria, Subway restaurant, a ballroom with a capacity of 1,100 persons, and auditorium seating 350.

Gasper River Retreat is located on 20 acres of beautiful countryside, only 15 minutes outside of Bowling Green. A wide variety of facilities, services, and rentals are available to groups of any size from families to companies for rent by the hour, day, weekend or week.

Large windows in the Lobby, detailed mural walls and historic tile flooring bring nostalgia to any event. The L & N Depot has two meeting spaces available:

The Depot also has a caterers’ staging room that is adjacent to the Reception Room. It has outdoor access, 17 cubic sq. ft. refrigerator, a sink and multiple outlets. In addition, tables and chairs are available for use, include 15 - 72” round tables seating 10 each, 20 - 6’ rectangular tables seating 8 people each and 140 upholstered chairs.

South Central Kentucky’s only indoor party zone with inflatable structures offering fun for all ages in the 8,000 sq. ft. play arena. 88 ft. horizontal climbing course, room for 100 kids in the play area, sound system with PA, photo studio on site. Two private party rooms, each 20’x20’ seating 40 and have wall mounted, 42” flat panel TVs wired for cable and computers. Catering or pizza can be brought in, and Cambridge Market, located next door, offers catering services.

Collecting Kentucky, the museum serves as a time capsule for Kentucky history, including Civil War, World War II, Kentucky authors, Mammoth Cave, early university life, Kentucky ancestors, folklore, South Union Shakers and politics. The Kentucky Room, located on the 2nd floor of the museum, has 3,000 sq. ft. and can hold 200 banquet or theatre style and 400 reception style. The Garden Gallery holds 30 banquet style.

The L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center is a 68,000 square foot multi-purpose facility located on Western Kentucky University’s 780 acre Agriculture Complex. Over 200 local, state, regional and national events are hosted annually and a variety of exhibitions, conventions and meeting activities can be accommodated. The complex has numerous meeting and conference rooms and a 315 seat theater style demonstration/sales arena. The 18,000 square foot show arena has a 2,076 seating area which can be extended to accommodate as many as 2,400 people and 45 exhibit spaces. The Expo Center also features 30 RV hook-ups, 250 horse stalls, covered and heated wash racks, and a 200 x 100 outdoor warm-up arena. Ample parking is available on a paved lot. Direct access to major highways and Interstate 65 makes the facility easy to get to.

Federal style brick architecture commanding the town square evokes feelings of ambitious aspirations, and the modest self-confidence of certain success. Through the main entry a large clubroom - with fireplace and vaulted ceiling - invites visitors to imagine a world full of possibilities. Village Hall also houses a Grand Ballrooms which lends itself readily to a wide variety of functions, and groups of up to 275 guests. Facilities at Olde Stone
