The Cave Country Trails (CCT) challenge begins its third challenge for 2022 on August 1st and the prize package is sponsored by the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. To take part in the challenge participants have every day in August to hop on a trail and enter to win the prize package. There’s no limit on the number of trails you can enter each month. Get on one of the trails in the region during the month of August, post a pic of your time on the trail and tag CCT on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or TikTok by using the hashtag #cavecountrytrailschallenge. Posting/tagging can happen any day of August. The #VisitBGKY package includes a two-night stay at a Bowling Green Hilton or Marriott property, admission for 4 at the National Corvette Museum, 4 boat tour passes at Lost River Cave, admission for 4 at the Historic RailPark and Train Museum, admission for 4 to Beech Bend Amusement Park, a $25 gift card to Rafferty's / Montana Grille / Double Dogs in Bowling Green, a $25 gift card to Chaney’s Dairy Barn and an adventurer t-shirt from the BG Area CVB Gift Shop. "We appreciate the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau for putting together August’s prize package, worth over $700,” said Rachelle Wright, project manager for Cave Country Trails. “These monthly challenge prize packages, put together by our tourism stakeholders, make trail use in our region even more attractive to visitors and locals alike.”
